ii. LEADERSHIP AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP TRAINING

    • Government

The purpose of this training area is to help strengthen Democracy-Governance, the Rule of Law on Governmental roles and its Fundamental purposes such as: Military defense, Security (Internal), Economic security, Social security, Healthcare, Education, Support for democracy, Governor, Head of State , Leadership , Premier , Favourite, Statesman, Citizen, President , Head of Government , Prime Minister, and Equality Rights.
Training Workshops for highly motivated passionate individuals who want to run for Government Elective Office and all those interested in Managing or working in the numerous professional activities of Political Campaigns.
EBI trains and develops Leaders with a New Mindset for the 21st Century for any Government Elected Office Position, National, Regional, State, and Local and anyplace, city or country in cooperation with International training institutes. Environmental security,

    • Business

EBI offers assistance and advice on organizational development primarily focused on regional support, democratic working methods and internal communication. EBI’s Entrepreneurship education-helps business starter to learn business concepts, practice skills including negotiation and pricing, and work on completion of business plans for their own individual businesses. Training and seminars on Corporate Executives, Entrepreneurship, How to start or Expand Your Own Business and Training and Developing to Jobs and Success.
EBI offers advanced course on SIYB for informal sector business people and weekly courses for business starter on KAB.
The programme consists of two components:

  • Improve Your Business (IYB) for existing entrepreneurs 
  • Start Your Business (SYB) for potential entrepreneurs.

The IYB introduces basic principles of good business management in a simple and practical way. The SYB takes potential entrepreneurs step by step to materialize their business ideas into a practical business plan. Both IYB and SYB courses are conducted in a participatory manner with little lecturing, which is suitable for small enterprise owners and manager. Training is conducted in workshops, supplemented by practical field work.
The total time of RTOT is 80 hours, 10 full days training in each region. The standard number of participants is 12-15 active trainers from different local areas.
EBI works with several SBAs and SBDCs from America and invites experienced faculties for the advanced trainings.

C) International programs: 
1. Training Leaders and Empowering Agents of Change-program of the Americas Global                        
Foundation

The following are the exceptional experiential learning/training, intensive workshops and seminars; study and investigation; tour/site visits; professional internships; interaction and dialogue; professional development; action plan development and coaching that AGF with ALTEX offer to Mongolian participants intern in Washington, DC to learn:

  • How to communicate with members and staffers of the US Congress, White House and Federal Agencies officials, Ambassadors, Corporate/Sponsors, NGOs, others and how to write a Grant proposal and follow up. Guidelines, requirements, deadlines, guarantees and sources of grants, how to communicate with grantees and follow up and how to raise funds for programs, projects or events; and how to communicate with Sponsors, Donors, Capital Endowments, Other Endowers, and Membership.
  • How to plan, manage and implement projects, program and events and earn how to write, communicate, and advocate a given issue

EBI coordinates and manages the Mongolian participants to the above mentioned trainings and workshops.

  • Career Development programs for students-program of the Fund American Studies

Career development programs for students, pursuing careers in academia, public policy by paid internships with donor institutions in the US of America, offers and manages the brightest students from Mongolia to participate an intense academic and cross-cultural experience program in Hong Kong  at Asia institute for Political and Economic Studies to earn academic credit from Georgetown University and become a part of a worldwide network of young leaders with the Fund for American Studies (TFAS). Asia Institute on Political and Economic Systems (AIPES) is an academic program designed to explore the political, economic and cultural issues of the world as it grows under democratic principles.  The EBI supports Mongolian students to conduct to this academic program.

The Charles G. Koch Summer Fellow Program offers internships in 1) public policy located in Washington, DC, and at 2) state-based policy organizations across the country. In addition to the internship, the program includes: Career Workshops, Seminars and Speakers, Stipend, Housing and Travel Costs .The Charles G. Koch Summer Fellow Program has been bringing top students to Washington, DC for a unique internship experience. Summer Fellows based in DC, EBI offers the following opportunities:

  • work with top policy experts, journalists, and academics
  • explore market-based solutions to critical social and economic problems
  • gain the skills necessary to effect policy change
  • live rent-free for the summer in the DC area (housing provided by IHS)

Throughout the summer, fellows will attend lectures, panels, and small group discussions on current policy topics and will also gain invaluable skills through research and writing projects and career workshops.

  • International Leadership Training-The Leadership Institute Washington DC

Political candidates, activists, professionals in public policy and political science, academic leaders, political consultants, and free market entrepreneurs are encouraged to attend. Expect great networking opportunities with local and foreign government officials, public policy activists and business and academic leaders from Mongolia. The trainings on:

  • How to design a strategy and use political technology to win elections.
  • How to raise money and to build independent grassroots, public policy organizations and youth groups.
  • In addition to a packed program of informative lectures, generous sponsors plan to host a visit the White House, the monuments, and other interesting and enjoyable things for you to do in Washington DC.
